Happy new year! How are you? I hope you’re well. Not just as some polite formality, but I really hope you have more reasons to smile than to frown, and you’re healthy.  

You’re probably busy so I’ll try my best to keep this short.  

February 2021 marks 15 years as a DJ for me. I’ve been fortunate to have played hundreds of events, to thousands of people. However, I’ve had one huge frustration almost every event I’ve done for all those years; I have very few pictures to show for it.  

My hands are tied and I’m constantly doing something on the turntables, thinking about my next move, so for 4+ hours I’m not thinking “Hey Sean, you should bask in your vanity and take a bunch of selfies!” That’s just not my natural thought process.  

Until 2020, I worked so many events, that I very rarely got to see my family. Not looking for sympathy, just stating a fact. My days & weeks are completely inverted by necessity, and the only people I see regularly are my event industry colleagues.  

Now I have to do all the self work & reflect on how much I completely hate not knowing when/if I’m going to see my family next. I know I can’t be alone in feeling this way right now.  

So, I have an idea to put something together, to show them what I’ve been up to, as a gift for my family. I’m asking that if you by chance have any pictures or videos of me DJing, that you wouldn’t mind sending it my way, it would be a huge help! From a picture of a livestream on your TV, an old photo buried in your phone, or maybe even just a funny story or standout moment from a night out. Anything is helpful!
